Cinewall TV Mount
Do you want to build a cinewall yourself or on behalf of a client? Then using the right cinewall TV mount is very important.
Because the television in a cinewall is hung in a precisely custom-made recess, it is extremely important that the TV hangs straight and can be mounted/dismounted in this small space.
In addition, a cinewall often uses a TV mount that can be pulled out of the cinewall and then rotated and tilted. What is a cinewall? This is a question we still get sometimes. A cinewall is a partition wall placed in front of an existing wall. The depth of a cinewall is usually between 20 and 30 cm. A larger flatscreen TV is typically placed in a cinewall, and because the cinewall partition wall has a depth of 20 to 30 cm, it looks as if the television is built into the wall.
Another big advantage of the cinewall partition wall is that all necessary cabling and any peripheral equipment can be placed behind/in the cinewall out of direct sight.
Besides placing a TV in a cinewall, a cinewall often has recesses for decoration or for peripheral equipment that cannot be placed behind/in the cinewall. It is also very popular to equip a cinewall with an ambient fireplace.
Which TV mount for cinewall
The specific TV mount you need for your cinewall varies. It depends on the size of the TV that will be placed in the cinewall and your preferences.
If you want the television to be mounted tightly and fixed in the cinewall, it is best to use a TV mount that holds the TV firmly in place. But if you want the TV to be pulled out of the cinewall, rotated left or right, and then pushed back into the cinewall, you need a swivel and tilt TV mount.
