    Do you have a TV bracket but the new TV does not fit the TV bracket? You can then buy a new TV bracket, but you can also opt for a VESA adapter . With a VESA adapter you can increase the connection size of your TV bracket.

    For example, if you have a TV bracket with VESA size 100x100 and your new TV has a VESA size of 200x200, you can mount a VESA adapter on your bracket with the correct VESA size. So you can use your old TV bracket for your new TV.

    What is the VESA size?

    Vesa sizes

    The VESA size is the connection size for a TV support to your TV, this size is often in the specifications of your TV. If you cannot find this information in the specifications, you can also measure the VESA size yourself. Where can you find the VESA connection?

    You will find a square or rectangular hole pattern on the back of your TV, this is the VESA connection of your TV . The most common VESA sizes are:

    • VESA 75 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 7.5 x 7.5 cm
    • VESA 100 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 10 x 10 cm
    • VESA 100x200 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 10 x 20 cm*
    • VESA 200 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 20 x 20 cm
    • VESA 300 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 30 x 30 cm
    • VESA 200x400 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 20 x 40 cm*
    • VESA 400 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 40 x 40 cm
    • VESA 400x600 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 40 x 60 cm*
    • VESA 600 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 60 x 60 cm
    • VESA 800x600 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 80 x 60 cm*
    • VESA 800 - the compartment on the back of the TV is 80 x 80 cm

    * In some cases the VESA size is displayed the other way around,
    For example, VESA 100x200 can also be indicated as VESA 200x100.

    What does the abbreviation VESA mean?

    VESA stands for: Video Electronics Standards Association , this is an agreement between a large number of monitor and television manufacturers. In this agreement they have agreed to maintain a standard size for the connection of a TV bracket.
