View full detailsWhen choosing a TV mount, you need to consider the dimensions and weight of your television. There are different types of TV mounts available, including fixed wall mounts, tilting wall mounts, and swivel-tilt wall mounts. Special TV mounts are designed for drywall and hollow walls and come with special screws, nails, and anchors. It is important to choose the right mount for your TV and wall type to ensure a safe and stable installation. A well-chosen mount ensures your television is securely attached to the wall and prevents accidents.
Before hanging your TV, you should inspect the wall to determine if it is suitable for mounting. Drywalls often consist of thin gypsum boards attached to a frame of wood or metal. It is important to examine the wall structure to determine if the wall provides sufficient support for the TV mount. You can also use a multi-detector to locate the studs behind the drywall. Finding the wooden or metal studs is crucial for a secure attachment. Make sure you know where the studs are before you start drilling or screwing.
Here you will find special TV mounts to hang LCD, LED, QLED, OLED TVs on drywall or hollow walls. These wall mounts come with special screws, nails, and anchors so you can hang your TV on drywall or hollow walls. The combination of these materials ensures that extra forces, such as someone leaning on the TV, can be safely supported.
Standard profiles, both wood and metal, are usually spaced at certain intervals, which is important for the stability and safety of the installation.

Mounting without drilling, using nails and drywall anchors designed for hollow walls, plaster, wooden walls, and drywall. The thickness of the drywall is important for mounting the TV, as it affects the type of fastening materials you need to ensure the installation is safe and secure.
The mounts are equipped with a lock to prevent the TV from coming loose from the wall mount.
Drywalls often consist of thin gypsum boards (18mm) attached to a frame of wood or metal, also called CLS or metal stud frame. This is a quick and relatively inexpensive way to build a partition wall. A metal frame behind drywall is relatively weak; we do not recommend mounting a mount on it unless the wall is reinforced. If the wall has a wooden frame, it is more solid.
It is important to reinforce the wall before hanging a TV, especially if the TV is heavy or cannot be properly mounted on the studs.
An 18mm drywall does not provide much grip in the middle of the board. If you want to mount a TV on such a wall, there are two ways to do it.

You know where the support of the underlying frame is. Usually, a frame is built with stud spacing of 60 or 30 centimeters. At these points, you can screw into the wall where it will have support. (Tapping and measuring the wall can help)
You don’t know where the support is; you can then use one of the drywall wall mounts specifically designed for this type of wall. Using the included mounting materials, you can distribute the load of the mount across the wall.
This question can be answered with yes and no. If you know where the internal frame runs, you could screw a swivel-tilt wall mount there. It is important to attach the wall mount close to the studs of the structure, as this significantly improves the stability and safety of the attachment. Keep in mind that the leverage on that point of the wall will be large. The longer the arm of the mount, the greater the force. If the wall is not double-layered (double drywall) or very sturdy, we do not recommend this.
Generally, only a flat wall mount is suitable for mounting on drywall. This is because the load of the mount is tightly fixed to the wall. By using many screws, nails, and anchors, you distribute the load across the width, allowing, for example, a 65-inch TV to hang securely.
Examine what the wall is made of. Drywall, wooden or metal frame
Find and measure the distance between the studs in the wall. (spacing of 30 or 60 cm)
Order a wide wall mount to distribute the weight on the wall.
Use the included mounting materials to hang the TV mount. Do this carefully and use the correct fastening materials to prevent damage to the drywall.
Always read the installation manual carefully.
If in doubt, consult a specialist and correctly attach the anchors to the studs to ensure a strong and safe mounting solution.
Here is a photo showing how drywall can be constructed. The drywall panels are 60cm or 120cm wide. Behind them is the frame, which has studs spaced at 30cm or 60cm.
It is important to consider the thickness of the drywall, especially when you want to hang a television on it. The thickness of the drywall affects the type of fastening materials you need to ensure the installation is safe and secure.
Depending on the function of the wall, the key is to find support in the wooden studs and attach the mounts in the right place for a neat result.

Examine the wall structure
Check the weight of your TV
Be alert for any pipes or cables inside the wall.
Buy your drywall TV mount. A tip is to always use high-quality fastening materials to ensure the mount is securely and safely attached to the wall.
Check the mounting materials
If in doubt, get help. It is important to carry out the installation safely by using the correct fastening methods and materials.
Safety is an important aspect when hanging a TV on drywall or hollow walls. It is important to use the correct fastening materials and to carry out the installation carefully. You should also consider the weight distribution and the forces exerted on the fastening points. It is advisable to hire a professional installer if you have any doubts about the installation. Incorrect installation can cause damage to the wall or even cause the TV to fall, which can be dangerous. Make sure to follow all steps carefully and use the correct materials.
