TV wall mounts for large screens.

Screens are getting bigger and bigger. In this category, we recommend TV wall mounts in large and extra-large sizes. VESA sizes of 500x400, 600x800 and 900x600 are no exception. Large screens from 75 to 120 inches also require large mounting points and a high load capacity.

We offer wall mounts for fixed installation as well as flexible wall mounts. A large screen doesn’t have to be very heavy, but its large size creates significant leverage. So even if, for example, an 80-inch screen weighs only 25 kilos, we recommend choosing a heavy-duty wall mount for it.

Fixed wall mount

If you choose to mount your TV on a fixed wall mount, we recommend a large wall mount such as the Wolff Mount TVB-89. The advantage of this mount is its load capacity of up to 100 kilos. It supports mounting patterns from 400x400 to 900x600 and sits just 3.2 cm from the wall. The many holes in the horizontal frame allow you to distribute the weight (up to 100 kilos) across the wall. For a heavy TV, we recommend using at least 8 wall bolts, arranged in 2 rows of 4.

A simple yet sturdy wall mount is the lockable TVB-113. This sleek wall mount has a large plate that makes it very sturdy. We recommend it for TVs up to approximately 90 inches. An added benefit is that this wall mount can lock the TV in place, acting as an anti-theft system.

Ever heard of “level adjustment”? This mount is the only one that lets you level a screen after installation. The larger the TV screen, the more noticeable every millimeter of difference on the wall becomes. A 1-millimeter difference can result in a misalignment of almost a centimeter at the corners.

Flexible, swiveling wall mount up to 120 inches

You might think this is impossible, but it isn’t. We have a heavy-duty wall mount for screens up to 120 inches and 120 kilos. This wall mount has two support arms that distribute the weight. The TV cannot sit at a right angle (180 degrees) to the wall because of the two arms. However, this large, heavy-duty articulating wall mount can support a large screen weighing up to 120 kilos. You can swivel the screen, for example, from the living room toward the kitchen.

Flexible single-arm wall mount for 180-degree positioning

We don’t recommend this. A single-arm wall mount for positioning a TV at a right angle is not advisable for screens in this large size category. Some wall mounts may be rated for the weight or VESA size, but the significant leverage means a TV on a single-arm wall mount, often positioned 1 meter from the wall, will tend to sag to one side due to gravity and the steel flexing.

Finally, we always recommend choosing a wall mount with a load capacity well above the TV’s maximum weight. If you choose a wall mount that can only just support the weight, the hinges will also be harder to move.
