Wolff Mount Electric Ceiling Mount TVB-106 & TVB-107

If your electric ceiling mount jams, the remote control does not respond, or it fails

Ceiling mount no longer moves down

If the mount no longer responds or only moves up, first perform a full reset.

Reset the ceiling mount

1. Unplug the ceiling mount from the power outlet.
2. Wait at least 10 seconds.
3. Plug the power cord back into the socket.
4. Hold the OK button on the remote control for about 5 seconds.
5. The ceiling mount now automatically starts a reset procedure.
6. After the reset, the mount returns to the starting position.

This recalibrates the internal position settings.

The ceiling mount does not respond at all

First check:

• Is the plug properly inserted into the socket?
• Is the power indicator on, if any?
• Are the remote control batteries still working?
• Is there nothing mechanical blocking the mount or TV?

When all of this is in order:

1. Perform a full reset.
2. Then try moving up and down again.

Remote control not working

First check:

• Replace batteries.
• Stand within about 3 meters of the ceiling mount.
• No metal obstacles between the remote control and receiver.

If the remote control still does not work, you can re-pair it.

Re-pair remote control

The TVB-106 and TVB-107 support reprogramming the remote control.

Pair a new remote control

1. Turn on the power to the ceiling mount.
   
2. Press the programming button on the receiver.
3. Within 10 seconds, press the SET button on the remote control.
4. The ceiling mount beeps several times.
5. The remote control is paired.

The mount can remember multiple remote controls.

Clear all remote controls

If you want to remove all paired remote controls:

1. Press and hold the programming button on the receiver for about 5 seconds.
2. Release after the double beep sounds.
3. All paired remote controls are now removed.
4. Then reconnect the desired remote control.

Reset positions

The ceiling mount has memory positions.

Save memory

Move the TV to the desired position.

Then hold:

MEM1, MEM2 or MEM3

Press and hold for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep.

The position is now saved.

Recall memory

Press briefly:

• MEM1
• MEM2
• MEM3

The ceiling mount moves automatically to the saved position.

Ceiling mount does not move fully up or down

If the set end position is no longer correct:

Perform a full reset.

This will reset the factory settings of the position.

TVB-106: Reset tilt angle (slanted ceiling)

Only available on the TVB-106.

If the TV no longer hangs straight on a slanted ceiling:

1. Keep the TV still.
2. Press and hold the designated tilt button.
3. Adjust the correct angle again.
4. Optionally save a memory position again.

If you encounter problems, you can first perform a full reset.

Reconnect WiFi or Tuya App

If the ceiling mount is no longer visible in the Tuya Smart App:

Step 1

Open the Tuya Smart App.

Step 2

Choose:

+ Add device

Step 3

Connect your phone to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network.

5 GHz is not supported.

Step 4

Choose:

Motorized TV Solution

Step 5

Enter the WiFi password.

Step 6

After about 10 to 60 seconds, the ceiling mount will be added automatically.

A beep confirms a successful connection.

Reactivate WiFi (TVB-106)

Only available on the TVB-106.

When WiFi is off:

1. Press and hold the WiFi button for about 3 seconds.
2. Release as soon as the beep sounds.
3. The WiFi module is being reactivated.

If necessary, you can then reconnect the Tuya App.

Delete and reconnect the Tuya App

If the app keeps crashing:

1. Open the Tuya App.
2. Press and hold the device for a few seconds.
3. Select Remove Device.
4. Add the ceiling mount again.

Create a new home in Tuya

If devices are not visible:

1. Open Me.
2. Select Home Management.
3. Select Create Home.
4. Name the house.
5. Choose the desired room.
6. Then add the ceiling mount again.

Link app to multiple users

You can give other family members access.

Go to:

Home Management → Add Member

The new user receives an invitation and gains access to the ceiling mount.

Common malfunctions

The ceiling mount continuously beeps

First perform a full reset.

If the beep persists, contact the supplier.

Remote control sometimes works, sometimes not

Usually caused by:

• Dead batteries
• Too great a distance
• Obstacle between receiver and remote control

The TV stops halfway

Check:

• No cables pinched.
• No obstacles.
• TV not heavier than allowed.
• Then perform a reset.

The TV moves crookedly

Check:

• Installation
• VESA mounting
• Weight of the television
• Perform a reset if necessary.

The ceiling mount makes a lot of noise

Check:

• Loose bolts
• Cables interfering with the mechanism
• Obstacles

If the sound persists, do not use the ceiling mount further and contact the supplier.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue:

• Perform a full reset.
• Reconnect the remote control.
• Reconnect the Tuya App.
• Check power supply, cabling, and installation.
• Contact the supplier or installer for further support.
