Have you ordered a new TV bracket from us? Then it is likely that you will find standard screws and plugs in the package. With these screws, you can easily mount your TV or screen to the TV bracket. The screws in the package are specially selected to fit most TVs. In most cases, they will fit, and you will have your TV attached to your new TV bracket in no time. If the screws differ for your TV, you can get the correct screws at a hardware store.
Screws and plugs are also included to attach your TV bracket to the wall. However, these are not suitable for every wall type. Want to know if you need different screws or plugs? You can get advice at the hardware store. If you want information about suitable plugs and screws, it is recommended to mention the weight of your TV bracket and your TV. When mounting the TV bracket on a stone or concrete wall, you can usually use the included screws and plugs.
Mounting per wall type:
If your wall is not made of concrete or stone, it is important to check how to install your TV bracket properly. Below are instructions for different wall types.
Drywall with wooden frame (hollow drywall)
We recommend anchoring the TV bracket directly into the wood. The size of the screw naturally depends on the wooden frame and the weight of the TV bracket. Always consult a specialist at the hardware store about the load capacity.
Drywall without wooden frame
It is important to use plugs and screws suitable for drywall. Always mention that you have drywall when asking at a hardware store. The required plugs differ from regular plugs.
Aerated concrete wall
When attaching your television to an aerated concrete wall, use bolts and plugs with the maximum length relative to the wall.
The wall must always be anchored. For this type of wall, only a TV bracket without swivel and tilt functions is suitable. If you still want a TV bracket that can swivel or tilt, it is best to attach a backing plate to the back of the aerated concrete wall. The backing plate can be made of wood or metal. Using a backing plate is only possible if the back of the wall faces an accessible space. Keep in mind that the plate will also be visible from the other side.
WARNING! If you are mounting a TV bracket on a drywall or aerated concrete wall, we recommend choosing a wall bracket that must be mounted flush against the wall. This is best for weight distribution.
