How do you mount a TV bracket on a wall?

How do you mount a TV bracket on a brick wall? What supplies do you need?

1. Supplies needed:

(Level, pencil, drill, anchors or concrete plugs, correct drill bit, screwdriver, safety glasses, dust mask, hammer, and vacuum cleaner)
(We recommend wearing safety equipment)

2. Choose the right spot on the wall

(We usually recommend the center of the TV to be about 85 cm high, but this also depends on the height of your sofa and your personal situation)

3. Attach the wall plate to the wall

1. Once you have determined the best location, hold the bracket against the wall and use a level to ensure the bracket is perfectly horizontal.
2. Mark the hole locations with a pencil. If your wall has mortar joints, do not drill into the joints. When installing on a brick wall, find the flattest surface to drill the holes.
3. Choose a drill bit that matches the diameter of the plug/anchor bolts and drill the marked spots. Always drill 1/2 cm deeper than the length of the plug.
4. Clean the hole using a vacuum cleaner to remove debris.
5. If you choose a concrete anchor, follow this procedure: Insert the sleeve anchor into the hole, gently tap it in with a hammer until it is flush with the wall surface. Be careful not to damage the surrounding masonry when tapping it in.
6. Hold the TV bracket against the wall, insert the bolt, and tighten it securely with a wrench. Do not overtighten the bolt.

4. Attach the TV brackets to the TV

Locate the holes on the back of the TV and align them with each bracket, securing them firmly with screws. Since TVs have different mounting hole sizes, first choose the correct screws that match the screw holes on the back of your TV. Refer to the manual for this procedure.

5. Hang the TV on the wall

Usually, there are hooks on the TV bracket that allow you to easily attach it to the wall bracket. Carefully lift the TV and hang it on the wall bracket.

Check that all screws are tightened properly so the TV is securely mounted.
Check if the mounted TV is level and in the correct position. If not, you can loosen a few screws and, with the help of another person, carefully adjust the TV or the bracket to a horizontal position.
