What is your VESA size

The VESA size refers to the four screw holes on the back of your television or monitor with a threaded insert where a bolt can be screwed in to mount the TV mount to your television. This can be either square or rectangular. To determine your VESA size, you need to measure the distance between the screw holes, both horizontally and vertically. It is important to measure horizontally first and then vertically.

The most common VESA sizes:

100x100, 200x200, 400x400

Above you can see how the VESA size should be measured. This concerns a VESA size of 400x400. The mounts below are suitable for a VESA 400x400.

NON VESA

Do you have a NON VESA size? If the distance between the screw holes is between the sizes mentioned above, such as 330x330, then you have a so-called NON VESA size. If you want to buy a TV mount, you need to check whether you have a VESA or a NON VESA size. Below you will find some mounts for TVs and monitors with NON VESA sizes.

Choosing a TV mount

What to do when choosing a TV mount? It is of course important to find the right mount for your television immediately. For this, you need to check the following:

  • What is the diameter of your television, measured in inches?
  • What is your VESA size?
  • What is the weight of your television?

With this information, you can select a TV mount. Next, it is important to know what you prefer. Do you choose a swivel TV mount, a flat TV mount, a tilting TV mount, or a ceiling mount?
