    A swivel TV mount is ideal when you watch TV from multiple locations. With a swivel TV wall mount, you can easily turn the screen towards the seating area, dining table, or kitchen. Many models are also tiltable, allowing you to better adjust the viewing angle and reduce annoying reflections.

    How far a swivel TV mount can rotate depends on the mount itself and the size of your television. For example, if your TV is one meter wide and you order a swivel TV Mount that can rotate 90 degrees, but the arm only extends 40 centimeters from the wall, the mount can technically swivel, but the side of the TV will hit the wall sooner.

    Advantages of swivel TV mounts

    Which swivel TV mount do I need?

    Which rotatable TV bracket you need mainly depends on five points. Look at the size of your television, the weight, the VESA size, the desired rotation angle, and the distance to the wall. Especially for larger televisions, a longer and stronger arm is important.

    • 32 to 43 inch: often a compact rotatable TV mount is sufficient.
    • 50 to 55 inch: usually choose a sturdy wall bracket with a longer arm.
    • 65 inch: pay close attention to the arm length if you want to rotate the TV far.
    • 75 inch and larger: choose a heavy full motion bracket with high load capacity.
    • Corner setup: choose a bracket that extends far enough from the wall.

    Also always check the VESA size of your television. Common sizes are for example 100x100, 200x200, 300x300, and 400x400. The VESA size indicates where the screw holes are located on the back of the TV. This size must match the TV bracket.

    A rotatable TV wall bracket helps to better position the television. You can turn the screen towards the optimal viewing spot and many models also allow slight tilting. This makes these brackets suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, offices, and spaces where you watch TV from multiple angles.
