Ergonomic Workplace

An ergonomic workstation is tailored to your body, your tasks, and the equipment you use. Start with your chair and working height, then adjust the position of your screen, keyboard, and mouse. An accessory will only work well if it suits your setup.

Choosing screen height

Sit comfortably and position the screen directly in front of you. A good starting point is to have the top of the screen at or just below eye level. If you wear multifocal glasses, a lower position may be more comfortable. If you find text difficult to read, adjust the text size and viewing distance too, rather than continuing to lean forward.

Is your screen too low, and do you want to keep its existing stand? A monitor riser provides a fixed lift. A monitor arm may offer more adjustment options, depending on the model. Check the VESA size and load capacity when choosing an arm.

Keep your keyboard and mouse within reach

Position your input devices so your shoulders remain relaxed. If you work for long periods with a raised laptop, use a separate keyboard and mouse. Keep enough workspace clear and make sure cables don't restrict your movement.

Alternate between sitting, standing, and moving

A sit-stand workstation lets you raise your screen and input devices together. Check the adjustment range, load capacity, and desk space required. Alternate between positions and take breaks: standing still for long periods isn't ideal either.

Which accessories are right for you?

Our ergonomic accessories offer different ways to adjust your setup. Choose one to address a specific issue, such as a screen that's too low, limited adjustability, or insufficient space. A better-adjusted workstation can support comfort, but it is not guaranteed to prevent or relieve physical discomfort.
