If an external party processes data independently, such as a payment provider conducting its own payment assessment, that party's privacy statement also applies.

What data do we use and why?

We request the data needed for the relevant purpose. Without the necessary order and address details, we cannot process an order. Do not send passwords or complete payment details via the contact form.

Who do we share data with?

Where necessary for our services, we use external service providers, such as e-commerce and IT service providers, payment providers, delivery partners, suppliers, repairers and review services.

• We share the data needed for the relevant service, for example a delivery address with a delivery partner.
• We make agreements with parties that process data on our behalf regarding the use and protection of data.
• Your consent choice applies to certain cookies or advertising services. Read the cookie policy.
• Data may be disclosed when required by a legal obligation or a valid legal claim.

Processing outside the EEA

External service providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area. For such transfers, appropriate safeguards must apply, such as an applicable adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with additional measures where necessary. A data processing agreement alone is not automatically sufficient for international transfers. Ask us for information about the recipients and the relevant safeguards for your data.

How long do we retain data?

• Administration: invoice, payment and order data subject to statutory tax retention requirements are retained for 7 years.
• Warranty and complaints: under our existing policy, we retain the relevant reports for 7 years.
• Newsletter: as long as the subscription is active. Under our existing policy, we retain the registration of consent and unsubscribing for up to 5 years after withdrawal, to demonstrate the choice made.
• Other data: no longer than necessary for the purpose, handling a query or complying with a legal obligation.
• Cookies: the retention period varies by cookie and service. See the available cookie information and our cookie policy.

We do not record telephone calls.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. Access is limited to employees and service providers who need the data to perform their work. Do you suspect misuse or a security issue? Report it via info@tvbeugels.nl.

Your privacy rights

• You can request access to and a copy of your personal data.
• You can have inaccurate data corrected.
• Under the conditions of the GDPR, you can request the erasure, restriction or portability of your data.
• You can object to processing based on a legitimate interest and to direct marketing.
• You can withdraw your consent. This does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing based on that consent.

Send your request to info@tvbeugels.nl. We may ask for information to verify your identity in an appropriate manner. We generally respond within one month. For a complex request, the statutory period may be extended; we will inform you of this within that first month.

We cannot always delete data that we are legally required to retain. We explain when a restriction applies. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the competent data protection authority in your country.
