What is a VESA size?
Are you looking for a TV mount but don’t know your VESA size?

The VESA size is the hole pattern on the back of your TV. The VESA size ensures you can attach a TV mount to your screen and varies by TV model. If you want to hang your TV using a mount, it’s important to know your TV’s VESA size. If the VESA size of your TV does not match the mount’s VESA size, the TV cannot be mounted on the bracket. Most TV mounts support multiple VESA sizes.
How do I find the VESA size of my TV?
You can find the VESA size in your TV’s manual. Have you lost it or thrown it away? Fortunately, you can easily determine the VESA size yourself. The VESA size is the distance between the holes on the back of your TV. The hole pattern is usually square or rectangular and is measured in millimeters. You determine the VESA size by first measuring the horizontal distance and then the vertical distance between the mounting points. A VESA size of 200x100 means the mounting points are 20 cm apart horizontally and 10 cm vertically.

VESA adapter
If the VESA size of the TV mount and your TV do not match, this can sometimes be resolved with a VESA adapter.

A VESA adapter is a plate a few millimeters thick that you can mount on your TV. This allows the VESA size to be increased. We offer various types of VESA adapters. The TVB-109 is a good option, for example. Using this VESA adapter model, a VESA size of 75x75 or 100x100 can be expanded to 100x200, 200x200, or 120x180. When ordering a VESA adapter, it is very important that the adapter matches the VESA size of your TV.
Which screws come with the TV mounts?
All TV mounts we supply come with standard screws. Most TVs have standard screw sizes. For example, TVs with a VESA size of 200x200 often use M6 screws, and those with a VESA size of 400x400 use M8 screws. This is the standard size for most manufacturers. However, your TV might be a different model and therefore have a different size. As a result, the screws included with the TV mount may be too large, too small, too long, or too short for your TV. The best way to solve this issue is to get the correct screws from your local hardware store. Their staff can assist you with this.
